Observation is About Paying Attention and Decoding the Rules Already in Existence
The Observing Power of a Falling Apple Has Shaped Our Techno-Mechanic World of Today
The entire technology of nineteenth century and also our modern world rests largely upon Newton’s formulae. Be it the building of bridges, skyscrapers, trains, engines and hydraulic systems including flying of aeroplanes; to understand the cause of tide, prediction of eclipse, be it the prediction of the existence of a new planet (in fact Pluto was discovered this way) or sending of space ships to Mars or to Saturn—all would not have been possible without the Newtonian mechanics and calculations of gravitation with his ‘Little Moon’.

NEWTON OBSERVES: A FALLING APPLE
Observation
Observation starts by acknowledging the being within you.
“Remember yourself. Deep inside, you have an observer, a constant vigilant neutral witness to your posture, gesture, facial expression, breathing, taste, impressions of light and sound. Don't leap to interpret. Just be there and observe.” |
NEWTON QUESTIONS: WHY FALL INSTEAD OF FLY?
Reason
Reason gives you the ability to merge with your Observation.
Radical Reasoning is a result of calculated observation, dynamic interrogation, and intensive investigation of the intuitive self. This exercise helps you establish your equilibrium as a part and player of Natural Law. |
NEWTON'S QUEST = 300 YEARS OF INVENTION
Experience
Experience is the result of intentional observation that curiosity drives to understand.
Experience is the result of your thoughts, actions, attentive observations, and the persistent pursuit of your inspirational dreams. Tomorrow's experience is today's imaginative exploration of creative observation. |
An Observer's Journey
A personal journey by Joyashree Roy
The case study used in the slides is based on my observations from field research over past twenty years. It has withstood the rigors of grueling questions, and has fulfilled my inner journey to observe and contemplate on various competing scenarios. |
